The Mitsubishi M"i"ne

If you recall my post early last May, _this_ :D year, about the car that I wanted to buy, the mitsubishi i, and how I'm waiting until next year for it, and how I think it won't be as expensive as my brother said and that I wanted it blue...

Well...

I BOUGHT IT \(^o^)/

It's cute and it's mine. I've been saying "mitsubishi i" everytime I'm asked what car I want to buy and I finally, finally have it, and the best thing about it is that I have it on my terms.

Of course, there had been times when I feel like I should just buy a second-hand car as waiting became unbearable. I would look at my progress and wondered how much longer I have to wait. I worried about the price and wondered whether I was getting abnormally stingy ^^;; I would look at used-car adverts and thought I should just buy that one, or maybe that other one, and that looks like a good price for a year-old car...

But the wait is over (in a couple of days, I mean :p) !!By Thursday, the car will be at my house and I will be able to fix the driver's seat and the mirrors to my liking ;)

I would like to thank my colleagues who accompanied me to just go to the distributer and ask for the price ( and finding, to my utter surprise and excitement, that I've reached my goal). I also would like to thank my friends who has given me encouragement and support these 14 months (hehe). And of course I want to thank you-know-who for this everday miracle and for more than I can list :D

So that's the big news. I've told most of you about it anyway, so I'll just post a new picture of the car.
I didn't get the blue one and settled on ash grey. My bro said that the car is actually expensive like he said, but since it's been in the Brunei market for about a year (?) and they were having a promotion, I had a discount. Whether that was just salesman talk or that I had a really good deal, I'm just glad it's finally mine. I had my heart set on it for so long (thinking that if it was more than I expected, I would need to pick another small auto car) and I'm just grateful I no longer have to wait and dream of the day.
