Hidup Bebas atau Mati Keras...

An eventful week - had a very INTERESTING internship presentation last Wednesday. How interesting? Check out the Malay-fied movie title that I repeated as this post's title. Plus, the presentation also featured a memorable movie starring a horrible looking me with a guilty expression while tapau'ing some leftover during last Monday's lunch (Kuang asam kamu Azz, Asyraf!). Plan of revenge... will look for dreadful photos that I can upload to this page. ;p.

Also BAG Networks organised a movie outing with clients - lucky top 25 callers to the Service Desk got 2 tickets, so them and the entire staff (plus 1 *winks*) turned up at Empire Cinema last night watching the Hidup Bebas atau Mati Keras.

The movie is OK. It's basically a Hindustan hero movie from Hollywood. I mean, come on, if a sexy chinese hacker can't kill McClane, never mind the fighter plane shooting rockets - sure won't die punya. The one thing that killed my braincell was not the C4 implanted CPUS, it was the Malay/Indon based subtitles - "Kekal rapat... Kekal rapat!" for "Stay close, stay close!".

I wish they would do away with subtitles altogether. Mom-who finished "Malay language only- stream" school- agrees. She says she understand the spoken English compared to the rubbish that they show.

Transformers on the other hand, which I watched on Monday night, blew me away. The script sucks but the action is amazing! Except for one scene, I almost forgot that I was watching a CG movie - it was that good. The beat up Bumblebee mobile form reminds me of Bam's beat up car - the really old car autobot's insignia on his steering wheel. Bam! Begarak lakat keta mu? Cuba gambar -mana tau jadi Bumblebee hehehee...
